Lester C. Cronk

LESTER C. CRONK, 70, of Elmwood Park died Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Born in Hackensack, NJ, Mr. Cronk resided in Elmwood Park for the last 46 years. He had been employed and retired from the Cedar Grove Board of Education. Previously, he was employed at Farenkopf Chevrolet and Ray Catena Chevrolet as a master mechanic.  He was also employed at DeLuxe Check Printers. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows and driving his '62 Corvette.

Mr. Cronk was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Assumption RC Church, Passaic and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post #136 of Lodi.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lester H. and Mary (nee Tichacek) Cronk.

Survivors include: his wife, the former Corinne Carriero; his three children, Brian Cronk and his wife, Alison of Saddle Brook, Paul Cronk and his wife, Livia of Ridgewood and Jamie Joannides and her husband, Evan of Hawthorne; and his five grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Joan and Charles Cronk and Amelia Joannides.

Visitation will be 2-6 pm Sunday at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Funeral 9:15 am Monday from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Mary RC Church, 63 Monroe St., Passaic. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. NJ
