JACQUELINE I. (nee Daviau) JORDAN, 88, of Port St. Lucie, Fla. died Friday, Aug. 26, 2022.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Mrs. Jordan resided in Paterson from 1959 until moving to Florida in 2001. She had been a bookkeeper with Paterson Mental Health Clinic and then worked at Designeers of Totowa.
She was a former parishioner of St. Mary’s RC Church, Paterson and was an avid bingo player, collecting many elephants for good luck as she frequented the bingo games at the Knights of Columbus in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was happiest when her children and grandchildren visited her Florida home, enjoying the pool.
Mrs. Jordan was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Samuel Fred Jordan, in 2017 and by her brother, Robert Daviau.
Survivors include: her three sons, Phillip Jordan and his wife, MaryAnn of Woodstock, GA., Kenneth Jordan and his wife, Lorraine of Forked River, NJ and Thomas Jordan of Maywood, NJ; her daughter in law, Karen Jordan of Wayne, NJ; her sister, Pauline Gorgol of Salem, NH and her seven grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Matthew, Christopher, Jennifer, Zachary, Hope and great granddaughter, Ivy.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm. Friday, Sept. 2 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Funeral will be 10:30 am Saturday from the funeral home followed by interment at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visit www.bizub.com for driving directions and to sign the guest book.
